We had a wonderful week on vacation we did alot of fun things:*Rode the ferry across to Dauphin Island enjoyed a local seafood poboy picnic style, toured Fort Gaines, and rode around this quaint little island where I think I could live.
* Enjoyed everyday at the beautiful beaches of Orange Beach, soaking in the sun, playing in the ocean and watching Allen and Judson ride the waves for hours
*Relaxed by the big crystal clear pool at our condo while reading a great book called "Still Alice"
I highly recommend it loved it words can not describe
* Enjoyed a Dolphin cruise one evening at 6 o'clock saw 2 dolphins which were so much fun to watch and seeing the sunset on the water was priceless
*Walked out on the fishing pier which just had opened Monday saw a man catch a young shark- Judd thought that was pretty cool
*Allen walked and picked us up breakfast two mornings and we enjoyed it on our balcony loved it!
*Ate some yummy local seafood every night from fish tacos,gumbo, crab cakes,oysters and our favorite fried crab claws
*I have stayed in alot of hotels, motels, condo etc but never been awoked up at 1:30 in the morning to a fire alarm yes I was up and out of there so fast I flew down 11 stories so fast, I guess being a teacher and having drills all the time I was in the mode. It was funny I looked around once in front of the condo and most moms were fully clothed, purse in hand cell phone. Me sleep shirt luckily put on some yoga type pants and flip flops, no purse or cell phone or keys.
Pretty fun though fire trucks came but it was only something wrong with the system no Pranker thank goodness BUT at 6am that same morning off it goes again needless to say I headed to the balcony that time same problem they must have gotten it fixed never heard it again.
* Played Monopoly and Uno at night
GREAT TRIP ,memories were made
